What are your flowers made of? TOP

I create all of my flowers with a polymer clay which is a waterproof, durable material. For multi-colored flowers, I hand blend them with assorted clay colors, some which I custom blend.  No paints or moulds are used in the process.  I provide a variety of styles and components to choose from.  If you do not see it listed, I will gladly work with you to customize an item.

Do you sell your flowers as beads? TOP

No. I only sell my flowers as finished products incorporated into my original jewelry designs and do not sell them separately as beads. 

What components do you use? TOP

I use a wide range of components in order to offer my customers options to fit their needs.  Here is a list of my commonly used components and their descriptions:

My Common Components

Stud Earrings - Surgical steel posts, nickel-free

Clip ons - Base metal silver tone

Drop Earrings - sterling silver, gold-filled and antique brass (all lead and nickel safe)

Leverback Earrings - antique brass, silver plated and gold plated (all lead and nickel safe)

Necklaces are available in a variety of choices including antique brass, sterling silver, gold filed, silver plated and gold plated. 

Metal Descriptions

Gold Plated is a base metal (usually brass or steel) and is electroplated with gold. It is a thinner layer of gold and will wear more easily than gold filled. Very commonly used for a costume jewelry category.

Gold Filled is a base metal with a thicker coat of gold (at least 5%) and does not wear as easily as gold plated.  

Silver Plated is a thin layer of silver that is coated over a base metal. Very commonly used for a custom jewelry category.

Sterling Silver contains 92.5% of pure silver and although will tarnish, can be polished back to it's shine.  This metal is a popular choice for those with metal allergies. 

Antique Brass is a brass base with an aging process applied.  Most antique brass style components in my shop are either a brass, iron or steel base.

Silver Plated Brass is a copper base plated with sterling silver with an enamel coating applied making it tarnish-resistant.

Gold Tone Brass  is a copper base with a gold tone and enamel coating applied making it tarnish-resistant.

Do you offer customization? TOP

I welcome custom orders! All sales on custom orders are final. Custom orders include designs and colors not listed in my shop as part of my current collection. 

I strongly recommend that you mail a color swatch to me or order color samples. If you forgo these options and choose to email a photo, due to varying computer monitors, I cannot be held responsible for a non-match. Once payment is received, your order will go into production.  I will then email you photos of your order in progress.  Your order will not ship until I receive your final approval.

Do you offer discounts? TOP

Yes.  I offer 10% off for 6+ of the same item in the same color. Hair Pin listings are automatically set up with discounts that will be applied to your shopping cart. 

If you would like to purchase 1 of the initial item to insure you are satisfied with the color and style, I am happy to provide the discount to the remainder items if purchased within 90 days. This method works especially well if purchasing for a bridal party.

Do you gift wrap? TOP

No...but your item arrives in either a decorative pillow box or glossy box.  During checkout you will be asked if you would like separate gift boxes for each item otherwise your items will be consolidated.

How long does an order take to receive? TOP

Most items are made to order.  Please allow 1-3 business days for production plus the estimated shipping time. The estimated shipping time is: USA Mail First Class 5-7 business days, USA Priorty Mail 2-3 business days, International First Class Mail will vary 2-4 weeks)

Due to the nature of my work, overnight shipping is not available.

UPS and Fed Ex options are not available.

What methods of payment do you accept? TOP

Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express.  You may order using your credit card, Paypal or Google Wallet.

Do you accept returns or exchanges? TOP

How do I apply my coupon or gift certificate? TOP

Promotional codes and gift certificates are to be applied in your shopping cart. For coupons, apply the code in the "Discount Coupon" box. For gift certificates, apply your code in the gift voucher box.  Click the ReCalculate button and the discount will be applied.

Do you offer special promotions? TOP

Yes.  Special promotions are normally displayed on my home page but to receive immediate announcements, you may sign up for e-promotions, follow on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus or subscribe to my Blog.

Where is your phone number? TOP

As the sole owner and operator of Stranded Treasures, I am currently unable to offer phone support at this time. All orders must be processed through my website's SSL secure shopping cart, secured by GEO Trust which can be verified here. For customer service, I am available to answer questions promptly via email (usually same day) by submitting your inquiry at my Contact page. Email communication also provides me a logged reference to your inquiries and requests which allows me to work more efficiently.
